STATE SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY FAIR On March 23rd, 36 Keokuk Middle School students competed at the 61st State Science and Technology Fair of Iowa. The fair was held at Iowa State University, at the Hilton Coliseum. There was a total of 399 middle school projects registered to compete at this state level science fair. -Team: Chloe Ruhl and Brittney Kelly → 2nd Place in Animal Sciences -Team: Kayde Martin and Anna Hinton → Honorable Mention in Microbiology, Biomedical and Health Sciences -Team: Kaylie Watson and Kaelan Swainey → Iowa State University Program for Women in Science & Engineering Award

Your Drawing Could Be The Front Of The Planners For Next Year! Rules: 1.Drawings Need To Be On 8”X 11” Sheets Of Paper (Printer Paper).2. Must Have ½ Inch Margins Around The Page. 3. Must Have Keokuk Middle School Or KMS Displayed. Let’s Show Our School Pride! The Deadline Is May 1st
National History Day Competition Congratulations to all of the students who competed at National History Day in Ottumwa last Friday. They did an amazing job of representing Keokuk. Advancing to state are Kaydance Oliveski for her research paper and two group website groups. Group One: Kaylie Watson and Abigail Wolter. Group Two: Layden Denning, Trevor Johnson, and Noah Scott. Only two groups in each category advance to state so Keokuk did a clean sweep in the group website category. Congratulations to all!
